Thank you for visiting my website.

I am Roslyn McFarlane, Principal Celebrant and business owner of Access Civil Ceremonies.

It is a supreme privilege and absolute joy for me to be invited to design and deliver a ceremony which showcases you and your story for your special celebratory event.

I have had an interest in Celebrancy since the late 1970's. I gave up work in 2006 to devote myself to being a full time Professional Celebrant. Your special occasion is more important to me than a part time job or a hobby.

I truly value the institute of marriage. Ian and I have been married for over 30 years. We have 2 children and foster any stray animal that wanders into our yard. We are devout animal lovers.

My strong background in Customer Service and Management in both Business and the Hospitality areas enable me to give you an uncompromising excellence of product, professionalism and service. I am a former Professional Ballroom Dance teacher with the Fred Astaire organization. I can provide you with dance lessons if you wish.

I enjoy studying and bring to my Celebrancy work the qualifications of Funeral Celebrant, Life Celebrant and Authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant . I have a Certificate 4 in Marriage Celebrancy and Small Business, and hold a Diploma of Frontline Leadership. I am also a member of the (AFCC) The Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants and the Australian Civil Celebrants Network. (ACCN)

I studied primary teaching, philosophy and mathematics at Melbourne University as a mature age student.

My interests include Public Speaking and I am currently the Secretary for Melbourne Rostrum Club 3. I like to compete in club competitions at every available opportunity.

An Australian by birth and passionately proud of this country, I try to see as much of it as possible by traveling to remote areas in our 4X4 car. I particularly look forward to conducting ceremonies at any of our spectacular outdoor locations.

Some people have asked me why I have such an "un-romantic" business name for such a "romantic industry".

I chose that name because I want to offer my clients:
